LES FILMS DU 3 MARS, Autisme Estrie and La Maison du Cinéma invite you to a relaxed
screening of CHAMPIONS (2020) on Saturday, September 24 from 1pm to 3pm at
Maison du Cinéma in Sherbrooke.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Helgi Piccinin, Marie-Claude Paradis-Vigneault (host of the event) and Jean-Christophe Ethier (Community Worker for Autisme Estrie).

Synopsis: The director accompanies Stéphane, his autistic brother, and Audrey, his atypical friend, on a sporting odyssey that takes them from Canada to Dubai to compete in the Special Olympics World Games.

Casual performances are open to all; they can meet the needs of people who identify with a sensory or intellectual disability, a neurological or learning disability, an autism spectrum disorder, an anxiety disorder, people with newborn babies, or anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable with the conventions of a traditional performance environment.
